The Skeeter was a two-seat training and scout helicopter and has the distinction of being the first helicopter to be used by the British Army Air Corps. It is now on display at the super National Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

The first Skeeter flew in 1948 but was beset by development problems. The type did not enter service until October 1956, the first helicopter to operate with the British Army (Air Corps). This example is seen in the Scottish Museum of Flight

The Skeeter was a light two-seat training and observation helicopter which served the British Army and RAF. This example is in the markings of the RAF's Central Flying School helicopter wing based at RAF Tern Hill, Shropshire.

The Skeeter AOP.12 served in the British Army Air Corps between 1957 and 1967.
