This was retired to AMARC in September 2003 and received storage code 2T250. It was Struck Off Charge (SOC) of the AMARC inventory in April 2004, it was most probably fully scrapped.

The A-coded training aircraft of the US Navy belong to Training Wing ONE, based at NAS Meridian (MS). But this A-coded Buckeye was seen at the flight line of Kingsville (TX). In these days, many aircraft swapped units and wings after a maintenance or overhaul service.

Most training aircraft of the US Navy in eightees carried USS Lexington markings, this was the dedicated US Navy training carrier.

After a long US Navy training career, this T-2C Buckey Training Wng TWO was retired and stored at the 309th AMARG from May 1993. This 158911 was eventually scrapped in May 2012.

157035 leaves the flightline of Kingsville. The base also housed TA-4J Skyhawks and on an average day you logged quite easy some 80-90 Buckeye's and Skyhawks.

Training Wing TWO had two Buckeye squadrons on strength, Training Squadron (VT) 21 and VT-22, but squadron markings were rarely used as the aircraft of the wing acted in a pool. Most T-2Cs have been replaced by the T-45 Goshawk.
