Delivered new to Canadian Pacific in April 1958, serving until May 1965. Operated by African Safari from August 1969 until withdrawn in April 1971, firstly as 5X-UVT and then 5Y-ALP.

Delivered new to KLM as PH-DCN in January 1962. To 5Y-BAS with ASA in August 1976, serving them until November 1982.

Ending her days on the Stansted fire school dump, this Britannia was acquired by ASA as 5Y-UVH as long ago as 12.69, later being re-registered. Formerly HB-ITC of Globe Air and before that, 4X-AGD of El Al

Delivered new to Transcontinental as LV-PPJ in December 1959. Served African Safari / African Cargo from February 1976 until January 1977. Latterly sub-leased to Invicta - as shown on sticker by forward door. Parked outside the Court Line hangar at Luton.

ASA ceased flying in 2009.

5Y-BAS pictured during its take-off from runway 01L. Only two ASA aircraft ever carried the striking zebra stripes on the upper fuselage, and this is one of them. ASA purchased this beauty from KLM in 1976 (ex PH-DCN), and later sold it to Seychelles International as S7-SIA. It was broken up at Brussels during 1987.
