During my day at this wonderful museum I photographed two unmarked Z-6s in this blue and grey scheme. The only obvious difference between the two was that one had the engine air intake blocked off, whereas this Z-6 had the intake open.

It seems that after the renovation of Datangshan and its exhibits that some aircraft have been deemed surplus to requirements. This Mi-8 is one of them and languishes in the undergrowth off to the side of the museum's boundary.
