The one and only Genesis operating in Ecuador; here seen at her home base Duran. Presently awaiting a new engine to take to the skies again. Called "the city of The Hague", this is a bit of Dutch pride in Ecuador!

2 sisters seen at their homebase. Note that the forward one (HC-U0050) is the slightly newer model with only 1 wing strut. This paint job was designed by the owner and was later used in the sales brochure of Ibis. Both ships are Rotax powered. Dataplate checked by myself.

Early morning at San Vicente airport; close to the city of Bahia de Caraquez. The following Rebeldes can be seen: Ibis Magic HC-U0046, "the Red Baron" HC-U0029 & a MXP150 Patriot, the HC-U0074. San Vicente Los Perales airport is a deserted place with a huge runway. Latest rumors have it that the Ecuadorian air-force may be using this beautiful beach-place soon. Shortly after this pic, 4 Rebeldes planes left San Vicente from Runway 33; for the "long" flight back to Guayaquil. Dataplate checked by myself.

This 740 has a remarkable story as it was flown from Ecuador to South Africa, via the USA, Greenland and Europe; and is still in service this very day. Thanks to Raul for making this picture possible.
