Unmarked UH-60A 60 leading a line of three. At the time this picture was made, this Alpha was assigned to the 1-111th Avn Reg/77th CAB. The latter was deployed to support OIR, the fight against terrorism in Iraq and Syria. Camp Buehring in Kuwait is used for maintenance of the helicopters as well as rest and R&R for the crew. This 606 was withdrawn from use at Huntsville (AL) by Dec'17. The US Army placed it into its Black Hawk Exchange and Sales Team (BEST) programme, so its very well possible the helicopter will show up in the FMS programme or with a civil operator.

An unmarked UH-60A. At the time this picture was made, this Alpha was assigned to the 1-111th Aviation Regiment of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade. The latter was deployed to support Operation Inherent Resolve , the fight against terrorism in Iraq and Syria. Camp Buehring in Kuwait is used for maintenance of the helicopters as well as rest and R&R for the crew. This 275 was withdrawn from use by May 2018. The US Army placed it into its Black Hawk Exchange and Sales Team (BEST) programme, so its very well possible the helicopter will show up in the FMS programme or with a civil operator.

Originally, the unit was put into service as Jagdbombergeschwader 36 (JBG36) but they transitioned into a fighter squadron from 1991. After the decommissioning on 31 January 2002, the 2nd Staffel of JG72 continued until mid-2006 as the Fluglehrzentrum F-4F (FLZ, F-4F) or F-4F flight training center, the JG72 patch on the intake continued. This 3743 was in its last phase of scrapping at its homebase.

This former AH-64A (87-00411, c/n PV430) was converted to AH-64D by 2002 and therefore received a new serial. The colors of the 77th Combat Aviation Brigade (part of the Arkansas Army National Guard) and are incorperated into the "crew-chief marking" on the nose. The attack helicopter just returned from some combat weeks in Iraq during Operation Inherent Resolve and was prepared for a maintenance job at Buehring.
