In order to improve the deficiencies of the Su‑7 several improved versions were developed. The Su-7BKL was the rough-field capable variant, however, it still sufffered from enormous fuel consumption, poor cockpit visibility to the ground and difficult landing characteristics. This example is on display at the superb Polish Aviation Museum.
