The Marksmen was an aerobatic team that used the RR Avon-engined Sabre. A94-922 was retained by the RAAF in storage until 1994 when it was swapped for a collection of Douglas Boston components needed for a museum project. The Sabre changed hands a couple of times and was shipped to Ardmore, New Zealand, for restoration to airworthy. That work stopped in 2005 but it remained in excellent condition in 2017.

Ex RAAF A94-983, now operated by the RAAF Historic Branch. This Sabre was disposed of by the RAAF, to Malaysia (based at Butterworth), then rescued by RAAF 75 squadron. Restoration was under the auspices of the historical branch. It suffered a minor accident as VH-PCM and became a static exhibit at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook.
