Delivered to Great Lakes late March 1996 as N201YQ. Reregistered N201GL in December 2002. Bought by Alpine Air Express in April 2020. Based in Provo (Utah), they operate cargo services on over 100 routes. They bought aircraft of the Great Lakes fleet after the latter ceased service. This meant another 25 Beech 1900D's and 2 Embraer 120's added to the Alpine Air Express fleet. All aircraft were to be converted to cargo aircraft.
