converted to Mohawk - went to Allegheny as N29824 in June 1977. Crashed December 79 at Clarksburg-Benedum (West Virginia) due to too much snow on all horizontal surfaces (having been de-iced half an hour before)

E F-WOFD. Became N26228 in August 1975, then N29811 in June 1976 with Allegheny Airlines, who converted it to a -36 Mohawk 298. Sold as VH-HIX in September 1987, and subsequently preserved at Queensland Air Museum, Caloundra.

This Nord 262 was a familiar sight at Gatwick in the early 1970's. It was sold to Ransome as N26228 in 1975 and spent the next 12 years in the US. It was then sold in Australia as VH-HIX and was used by a variety of regional carriers before being withdrawn from use in 1995. Is now preserved at the Queensland Air Museum. Scanned from a slide.
