VM352 was originally brought to the Netherlands in 1976 by personnel of 334 squadron, who have a history with the Anson, albeit the series I. It was given the colours of a Dutch Anson of the squadron with D-26 as its registration (the air force had 25 Ansons, D-1 through D-25). Later it ended up in Grootegast where it has been an incumbent for a good many years.
