Official Sud Aviation photo, no date or caption. First flown as F-WJAK 25 March 1959, delivered to SAS as LN-KLH 13 April 1959, entered service 15 May 1960. Cooperating closely with De Havilland the complete forward fuselage and cockpit section was identical to the Comet 1. Very early aircraft did not have weather radar but a landing light in the nose.

F-WHRA first flew 18 May 1958, and was delivered to Air France as F-BHRA 2 April 1959. Other aircraft visible are the first 3 examples for SAS, SE-DAA (4), LN-KLH (3) and OY-KRA (6), all delivered April 1959. The anonymous aircraft far left should be either F-WHRB (2) or F-WHRC (5).
