Ex. 78/14. It landed near Vlodrop in August 1916 after being shot at. Bought in February 1917. On March 14, 1917 the aircraft tipped over on its nose on the beach at Noordwijk. On September 1, 1917, the aircraft was again involved in an accident, when an emergency landing was conducted near Putten (aftermath seen in this photo). The aircraft again crashed on December 4, 1917 and was written off. A photo shows the aircraft straight up on its nose, with relatively little damage to it except for the nose/engine. The pilot got away without injury. Photo from W. Muntinga
