ex D-HDEC/G-BDMC/VH-LSA. Has the Police Aviation Services bird logo on nose, but was registered to Medical Aviation Services on 2nd March 1989. De-reg date 9th August 1994 as "Permanently withdrawn from use". Old pod discarded and became a "new Build" Bo.105DBS-4 (c/n S914) as G-WMAA. The old fuselage was collected from Rotortech, Bourn during March 1996 and taken to the Helicopter Museum at Weston-super-Mare.

Actually G-BCXO painted to represent G-CDBS

Added to the fleet of 299sq in '83, this B-83 was a deviating KLu Bolkow as it was a former KLM Helikopters machine. The '73 built helicopter flew earlier as G-BCTE, D-HDCH and PH-DCH, before it became PH-NZH with KLM. The Bo was easily recognised within the 299sq fleet as its skids were extended rearwards compared to the other Bo's of 299sq. B-83 was used as a testbed for various tests. In '96 it was modified to Bo105CB. In Apr'00 is was withdrawn from use at Gilze Rijen and sold to Star Air Service (Teuge) in October 2003. On 13 Sep'07 it moved to Neuhausen ob Eck (Germany), where it was noted in open storage in 2020 - see other photo.

Actually G-BCXO, previously D-HDCE, this aircraft has been on display at Land's End since at least 1992 and has also been displayed as 'G-BOND' (which is a Sikorsky S-76A). It is seen preserved in the colours of the Cornwall Air Ambulance as the real G-CDBS operated with them from St Mawgan and was used until 2001.

This tail boom is stored behind the Helicopter Museum. The aircraft was cancelled in August 1994 as permanently withdrawn from use.

This example flew for KLM from 1976 until 1982. After that, it became B-83 of the 299 Sqn. of the Royal Dutch Air Force. Withdrawn from use in 2000.

Former KLM Bö-105D PH-NZH

Used in support of charity collections for Cornwall Air Ambulance. It is actually G-BCXO painted to represent G-CDBS.
