Brought to Australia to demonstrate all-through jet training to the RAAF. Operated for a short time as A99-001. Reverted to its UK registration and later donated to Sydney Technical College as an instructional airframe. Now with the RAAF Museum.

Built as a demonstrator. In 1948 undertook an extensive tour of South America after which it was shipped back to the UK. It remained crated until shipped to Australia in 1959. Delivered to the RAAF as A99-001 but at the end of 1959 the RAAF returned the aircraft. It reverted to its UK registration but remained in Australia. Registration cancelled in August 1961 and the aircraft donated to the Sydney Technical College as an instructional airframe. In 1965 it was acquired by the RAAF Museum.

Participating in the Daily Mail London-Paris air race, for Hunting Percival Aircraft. Crashed at Langford Common near Biggleswade Bedfordshire on test flight November 16, 1960.
