Delivered new to KLM as PH-TAU "Utrecht" on May 28, 1946. Capital Airlines acquired it in 1950 and converted to L-049D as N86531. Other operators included Modern Air Transport and Belize Airways. In its final days it was used as a bar/lounge in Metairie, LA.
