Charles and Anne Lindbergh flew this Sirius from late 1929. It was often equipped with floats. On a trip clockwise around the Atlantic in 1933 the two got as far east as Moscow. The first of fifteen Model 8 Sirius utility transports built in 1929-1930. This was the personal aircraft of Lindbergh and his wife and was used for several of their long-distance international explorations before its retirement.
