The Ro.5 sport aircraft was built 'in large numbers', also for the Italian air force. Despite the fasces roundel, this seems to be a civilian plane. I-FIDO is listed as a Ro.5bis but the Ro.5bis had enclosed cockpits. Photo probably taken before the opening of the Aero Show at Olympia on 16 July 1929. It appeared in the Flight edition of 18 July.
