VQ-FAS was acquired by New Hebrides Airways from Fiji Airways in 1961, initially as a lease-purchase. This photo is believed to be taken at Suva before the aircraft left for Port Vila. VQ-FAR in the background remained with Fiji Airways. -FAS was reregistered VP-PAC in 1966 but by then it was already being dismantled for spares having run out of hours in August 1965. Allan Walker photo.
