G-CHIP must be one of the best looking light aircraft in the skies today! The aircraft wears an interpretation of the 1980s British Caledonian Airways livery, and is owned and maintained by a small group of volunteers at Shoreham Airport. The aircraft is seen here departing its home base on a cross-channel flight.

G-CHIP was recently repainted, whilst the livery remains a late British Caledonian reproduction, there are some detail differences, notably some calligraphy has been added or moved (eg BCAL added to spats). Seeing CHIP alongside another BCAL tribute Cherokee, G-RECW is infrequent and interesting, as G-RECW is a distinctly different shade carried before the Caledonian/BUA merger and for a while after.
