Withdrawn from use in 1960. Used as a gate guardian for Civil Flying Services until removed by the Moorabbin Air Museum. Fell into disrepair and engine taken for use in a Cessna C34. -AGP last reported as a flying restoration project using a metal wing from a Yeoman Cropmaster. The YA-1 Cropmaster was a development of the Wackett in which the suspect glued wooden structures of the Wackett trainer were replaced with metal
