This Fishbed-J was commissioned into the Czechoslovak AF as '7802' in August 1973 and flew with the 6. stíhací bombardovací letecký pluk ( 6th Fighter Bomber Air Regiment). It was transferred over to the Czech Republic AF and served until June 2002, when it was retired and then acquired by the military surplus company Excalibur at Přelouč. It is now preserved at the Red Star Company, north of Dresden.
