Converted from the second production F4 and converted to T8 in 1959. Written off on 16 December 1992 when it crashed into the sea, sadly killing pilot John Mullins.

Entered service in 1955. On 15 February 1992 it was abandoned by the pilot while making a mock attack on a RN warship after he was told he was on fire. The aircraft crashed into the North Sea 70 miles off Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.

Ditched in the North Sea on 15 February 1992, into the Minch seventy miles off Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. It was carrying out air exercises (a mock attack on the Royal Navy warship HMS Battleaxe).
