Tame's first Embraer 190, named "Ciudad de Cuenca" overshot runway 35 the evening of September 16, 2011 while landing. There were no lives lost nor any serious injuries, but the plane was written off. It remained in this condition until the old airport shut down and its planes were scrapped.
