1992 built McDonnell Douglas MD-11 that was delivered to VARIG Brasil as PP-VPK on the 30th December 1993. Boeing purchased her in May 2005, and she was then sold to UPS in June 2005. Converted to an MD-11F by the 19th October 2005, she is approaching the 20th anniversary of her birth as a freighter, & has now been in service for nearly 31 years. There are rumours of UPS considering their MD-11F fleet retirement, but it will be a sad day for enthusiasts and photographers alike when this does eventuate.
