Delivered to Braniff Airways as CV340-32 N3411 in 1952. To Caribair in 1962. Converted to a CV640 in 1966. Caribair merged into Eastern Air Lines then to Zantop International Airlines in 1973. To SMB Stage Lines in 1981. Damaged beyond repair in an emergency landing near Bartlesville, OK in 1987.

Not a great angle but there was no alternative. It was damaged beyond repair 28 Oct 87 making a powerless forced landing on a SOD runway after both engines quit during the cruise. It turned out to be a pilot induced error when cross feeding from the wrong fuel tank!
