Carries the race number "57" as one of a diverse field of participants in the 1971 London, UK to Victoria, BC Air Race, which was held as part of the celebrations to mark the centenary of British Columbia formally becoming a Canadian Province. For a number of participants, the first leg of the Centennial Air Race was from Abingdon, England to Prestwick, Scotland with Reykjavik, Iceland being the next transatlantic waypoint. One of five PA-24s in the Race.
