This aircraft is seen landing at the de Havilland Moth Rally. This is the aircraft in which HRH Prince Charles learned to fly. It is displayed in the livery that it carried at that time, basically the livery of the British Royal Flight.

Departures day for RIAT, an AWACS waits for a Chipmunk to depart. This aircraft was the Chipmunk that HRH Prince Charles learned to fly and it carries the Royal Flight livery of the time

At the DH Moth Club Rally

This is then aircraft in which Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales had his flying lessons. note the flash light in the cockpit to indicate the arrival of his Royal Highness.

This aircraft is the one in which HRH Prince Charles learned to fly in the 1970s and it still carries his livery, that of the Royal Flight at the time. It is seen here at the De Havilland Moth Club charity flying day in a demonstration of Barnstorming. The pilot has his arm out about to throw an egg. Children were invited to write their names on the eggs and if the egg survived the fall they were given to the child. Remarkably, a large number did survive !

Built at Chester in October 1952 and latterly being flown by HRH Prince Charles during his initial flight training. Sold in January 1974 as G-BCGC and still wears Queens Flight-style markings.
