This A400M carries the Pacific Skies 2024 badge on its tail, showing its participation in this exercise which brought a range of aircraft of several European air forces around the world, to Alaska, Japan and Australia. It is seen here taking off not to go to the moon, but to drop paratroopers near Arnhem in the Netherlands to commemorate the 80th anniverary of operation Market Garden.

The logo was already applied at the right side of the left entrance door and underscoring the command relationship and the close link between European Air Transport Command (EATC), the German LTG62 and the A400M. This is the first aircraft with this logo.
