First flew 9 January 1950 and delivered 8 February 1950. At the time of this event it was serving with the Metropolitan Communications Squadron at Northolt. Struck off charge 14 January 1969 and subsequently destroyed in an arson attack at Sunderland 24 January 1997.

The military version of the Viking. This particular airframe was one of only 3 remaining in the world and sadly was destroyed as a result of an arson attack in January 1997.
