Five Heston Phoenix five-seat aircraft were built by Heston Aircraft between 1935 and 1939. G-AESV was flown by the RAF in WW2 as X2891. This was the last survivor, owned by Mr Pilgrim and based at Elstree. It crashed in the French Alps in April 1952.
