On 7 September 2004, while on a local flight from Friedrichshafen, stalled at low altitude and crashed onto rising terrain at Neuhornbachalpe, near Schoppernau, Austria. Of the four occupants one was killed while the other three suffered serious injuries. At the time the aircraft was operated by Luftsportclub Friedrichshafen e.V.
