This F1EH, built in 1979, belonged to Escadre de Chasse 5, based at 5 Air Base, Sidi Slimane. The Escadre operates two Escadron de Chasse, named Atlas and Assad. Serial 127 crashed on 17 August 2015, just six kilometers south of its homebase. The aircraft arrived in the landing pattern after a training mission and collided with a flock of large birds, which caused the flame-out of the engine. The pilot ejected to safety. It is seen here in better times during a late afternoon landing at Chateaudun during a squadron rotation with the Armée de l'Air EC 1/30 and EC 2/30.
