Retired in April 1974, it was among Viscounts sold to Beaver Enterprises and stored at Winnipeg. Made flyable in 1976, the aircraft was flown to Montreal for sale to Zaire Aero Services that eventually fell through. It was sold to the Western Canada Aviation Museum in 1982 to replace their Viscount (CF-TIE) that was damaged by vandals. Placed on display in 1984 after refurbishment, it remains on display at the new location of the renamed Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada.
