On June 20, 2022, the UL-plane crashed into a forest area just 2.5 km from Elmau Castle shortly before the G7 summit. The new owner had bought the aircraft two hours earlier in Bremgarten for €18,500 and wanted to transfer it to Carinthia in Austria together with his son.
