Current in 2022 based in Kentucky. The brick complex is the original Trans Canada Airlines base built in 1937. All airframe, systems and powerplant servicing was carried out on Lockheed 10, 14 and 18 aircraft plus the DC-3. After WW-II the North Atlantic Air Ferry Service terminal at Dorval/QC became the basis for TCA overseas operations flying the North Star and Constellation. Eventually this became the Air Canada base for all aircraft after the Viscount, which was the final type handled at Winnipeg.
