This Ka-26 was originally delivered to MÉM Rep. Szolgálat in July 1978 and transferred over to Air Service Hungary in January 1990. By April 2003 the frame was current on the Hungarian register but with a valid CoA. This led to a thorough overhaul in Ukraine and by 2005 it was flying again for agriculture in southern Hungary. It is now operated by FlyCoop and was parked on the grass during my visit to the campany's home base.
