Registered as N4048M befire delivery to Iraqi Airways as YI-AKA in 1979. To Air Algerie as 7T-VHP in 1992 and OD-KMI then HB-JGK in 2007. Withdrawn from use at Geneva in 2008. Fuselage moved to Kemble, UK in 2018.

This JetStar has had a very interesting past. It was originally delivered to Iraqi Airways in November 1979 as YI-AKA. From 1991 it flew as 7T-VHP for the Algerian AF, Air Algerie and the Palestine Government before being placed into storage at GVA. The plane was restored, registered HB-JGK and flown in 2008 but went quickly back into storage. The fuselage hulk is now on the Belfast Apron at Kemble.

Having uploaded YI-AKA, here is the same aircraft at the same place 15 years later, no doubt being used by Mr Arafat. 7T-VHP was previously used on a C-130 but then changed to 7T-WHP

I'm not really into biz-jets at all, but there are exceptions if they sport airline colours. JetStars were always something special and one in Iraqi colours much more so. Went on to become 7T-VHP then much later (briefly) OD-MKI and ended up derelict at Geneva as HB-JGK
