Delivered to Trans Canada Air Lines as CF-TKV in 1962. Renamed to Air Canada in 1964. To Europe Aero Service as F-BTOV in 1972 then to Merpati Nusantara Airlines as PK-MVH in 1982. To Europe Aero Service at Perpignan for parts in 1987. Remains reported to have been moved to Le Perthus for fire training.

First flying on 6.6.62, this Vanguard takes the honour of being both the last to be built and the last to perform a passenger service, in late Oct 1987 (Jakarta-Medan-Jakarta). Firstly CF-TKW with TCA and sold by Air Canada to EAS as F-BTOV 4.72, operating their final Vanguard pax flight Orly-Perpignan on 8.1.81; to Merpati in May that year. Sold back to EAS for spares and ferried to PGF 12.87. Remains were apparently moved to a location in the Pyrenees near Spanish border for use as a rescue trainer
