ex Bangladesh Biman S2-ABN. Entered service with Nigerian Gas Air Cargo in July 1988. On December 12, 1988, 5N-AYJ was on a cargo flight from Dar-es-Salaam to Brussels with a planned stop at Cairo. After two missed approaches due to poor visibility at Cairo the crew decided to divert to Luxor. The 707 crashed 45km short of Luxor running out of fuel.

Delivered to Northwest Orient Airlines as N367US in 1966. To Bangladesh Biman as S2-ABN in 1973. To Gas Air Nigeria as 5N-AYJ and destroyed in a fatal crash near Luxor, Egypt in 1988.

Seen in the Pan Am maintenance area Southside at Heathrow this 1966 build 707 served with Bangladesh Biman from 1973-1988. It was sold to Gas Air as 5N-AYJ but crashed on approach to Luxor in 1988 when it ran out of fuel. Scanned from a slide.

First registered N367US to Northwest Orient in 7.66, this 707 was acquired by Bangladesh in 12.73 and sold to GAS Air as 5N-AYJ in 6.88. During a cargo flight from Dar es Salaam to Brussels on 13.12.88, made two attempted approaches at Cairo where a stop was scheduled; due to bad weather, diverted to Luxor but apparently ran out of fuel 45 kms short and crashed into a residential area
