Rebuilding the German army. The photo illustrates the use of construction numbers as serials by the German military in this period - the c/n is repeated on the tailplane endplate. 1215 made its test flights as F-WIEM, and went through four different codes, PD-132, PQ-140, PG-132 and PG-202.
