The Rocket 185 was developed from the Rocket 125. The aim was to produce a high-performance aircraft for $5000. Only 19 were built with its limited seating - it was essentially a two-seater - seen as an impediment. The design was taken over by Rocket Aircraft but no further aircraft were built. The fate of NX41662 is not known. Photo by: Hans Groenhoff / Smithsonian Institution
