Built as a Do.24T for the Spanish Air Force as HR.5-12 in 1944. Reserialled as HD.5-4 in 1964. Sold as D-CATD in 1969. Modified to a Do.24 ATT with a Dornier 228 type Advanced Technology Wing, re-engined with three PT6A-45B turboprops and fitted with retractable undercarriage between 1979 and 1983. Later preserved Oberschleissheim. Registered as RP-C2403 in 2003 and made airworthy again. Reregistered as D-CIDO in 2011. Damaged landing on Lake Wolfgangsee, Austria in 2015 then preserved at the Dornier Museum, Friedrichshafen. Germany.
