Whilst en-route from Strasbourg to Gloucester on 17th December 2008 the aircraft encountered severe icing conditions near Gouvy, Belgium, causing the pilot to deploy the emergency ballistic recovery parachute and the aircraft was badly damaged in the subsequent crash landing. The registration was eventually cancelled by the FAA on 18th April 2017.
