This is an ex US Army aircraft that had operated in Australia as VH-LIQ. Damaged in an accident in December 2009. Restored to static display standard at Caloundra, Queensland. It was then exchanged for A2-1022 which had been displayed at Nyngan as a memorial to the RAAF's flood relief work in the town. A2-1022 was notable as a veteran of the Vietnam War. After it was restored, it was mounted on a pole at the RSL Club at Caloundra. The RSL is an organisation for former service personnel
