Built in Bacau, Romania in 1988 and flown by the DOSAAF in the Soviet Union initially as 136 (Yellow) and later 86 (Yellow). Subsequently registered as LY-AIK and sold in the USA as N962KY in 2000. Following a crash in 2005 near Columbus Nebraska, the aircraft was re-exported to Lithuania becoming LY-AXN and was converted to tail dragger configuration by UAB Termikas at Preinai. Operated by Kunstflug-Yak at Oldenburg Hatten since 2011.
