Having previously been a customer for the Mirage 5, Egypt received 20 Mirage EMs (single seat) and BMs (two seat), operated by 82 Sqdn/ 252 TFW at Gebel el Basur. In future the EAF may be given the more advanced Mirage 2000-9s by the UAE as theirs are replaced by Rafales.
