Delivered new to the US Army as L-20A 56-4405 in August 1957, (re-designated a U-6A in 1962), it served until civilianised as N47794 in June 1973 and was re-registered N741RS in August 2005. Based in Alaska, when photographed it had come south to escape the cold of the northern winter. (Thanks to the excellent DHC-2.com web site for information).
