Until August 2003, two helicopter companies (one recce and one anti tank) were operated by the Danish Army, as the "Haeren Flyvetjeneste". This component was absorbed by the Danish Air Force as Esk 724. Note that this AS 550 still wears the "Haeren" titles, barely discernable below the rotor mast.
