It was one of Dean Franklin's projects and was being tested with a pair of 300hp IO-520 Continentals when the pilot let the nose get too low and it flipped over near Chalks ramp on 5 August 1971. It was later certified with those engines and until recently still had them. It now has more reasonable 260hp IO-470 Continentals and is still flying as N78X. (Info from Bill Bailey)
Registration / Serial:N7916C
